Women in Architecture USA

On October 19th, Sky-Frame successfully hosted its first international film screening event for the documentary "Women in Architecture" in New York, drawing a crowd of nearly 200 attendees of local architects, designers, and journalists. The venue, PUBLIC Hotel in Manhattan, designed by renowned Swiss architects Herzog & de Meuron for visionary hotelier Ian Schrager, provided an ideal setting for the occasion. This event was made possible through collaboration with Sky-Frame's local distribution partner, TwinForks. The USA stands as one of Sky-Frame's key markets, alongside the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) and the UK.

The evening's highlight was an engaging panel discussion featuring the documentary's protagonists, Toshiko Mori and Gabriela Carrillo, moderated by Paola Antonelli, Senior Architecture Curator at MoMA. Attendees were treated to a breathtaking view of the New York skyline. The feedback received from guests was exceptionally positive, with some participants describing the event as one of the most compelling architectural gatherings in the city.

The documentary film "Women in Architecture" debuted on November 3rd, 2022, at the Razzia in Zurich. Since its premiere, the film has garnered acclaim and recognition at various international film festivals, including those in Tokyo, the United Kingdom, France, Canada, the USA, Greece, Portugal, and Switzerland.
